3 Signs of Frozen Pipes

Brrrr! Winter has finally arrived and the temperatures may be dropping over the next few days. If it gets below freezing, it’s a good idea to drip your faucets to prevent your pipes from freezing.

But, if the weather is 32 degrees Fahrenheit or lower and you see one of these signs of a frozen pipe, call me right away:

  • A faucet is not running or a toilet is not refilling
  • Frost on the pipes
  • Strange smells coming from a faucet or drain

If the pipe bursts, shut off the water at the main valve and cut electricity to any area where the broken pipe leaked water. Then call me.
